Main purpose of role & level in the business:
As a Client Director in Kainos you will be the common link between project scoping during the sales process and delivery of the services sold. You’ll be accountable for the sales performance, customer relationships and project delivery for your customers. You will be actively involved in the sales process including scoping projects and estimating effort to complete the implementation. You will fully own the customer relationship at a senior level, overseeing all aspects of project delivery and be a senior point of escalation. This is a strategic role within the Kainos Workday practice, so you will interact with other senior levels within Kainos and the customer organization.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the relationship with new and existing customers. Works with engagement teams during P1 delivery to manage customer expectations and satisfaction. Works with the Head of Customer success post P1 delivery to build long term and high value relationships.
  • Manage local engagement teams and make sure the project is staffed with the right team
  • Accurately forecast demand, increase margin, develop propositions and manage customer escalations.
  • Work with a regional director to help develop joint go to market strategies and plan combined quarterly business reviews.
  • Agree and be accountable for project delivery to agreed margins.

Minimum (essential) requirements:

  • Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs and build relationships at a strategic, senior level.
  • Excellent communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact and credibility. Sound ability to formally present to senior Client audiences
  • Excellent consulting experience at a high level in an implementation environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and complete understanding of project management and business dynamics, preferably within Workday or other ERP projects
  • Broad business and technology understanding and a good awareness of industry trends in both HR and HR technology internationally
  • Deadline driven, able to make sensible decisions under pressure taking a balanced view of Client demands and Kainos commercials
  • Ability to widen and maintain a network of external contacts
  • An acknowledged expert capable of thought leadership e.g. production of blog posts
  • A recognised role model within Kainos but also in the wider Workday ecosystem
  • An effective people manager, mentoring and developing mid-level consultants. Participating in the development of a workforce plan for the business and recruiting to it as appropriate
  • Regular participant in sales activities and responsible for the production of estimates for bids
  • Understanding of risk management and able to manage risk within our customer projects
